Just wondering how many people are having troubles with the player's handbook falling apart on them. I know out of my gaming group I am in the minority with the problem, but I have now lost the equipment section of my PHB. Also does anyone have a recommendation on fixing this? Is there a place I can rebind it?

One of the earlier batches of books had weak bindings.

As far as i know, everyone got a replacement.

Contact customer support, they will point you to a page. I had to have mine replaced, it took about three weeks but I now have a brand new book.

I bought my PHB late and haven't had any issues with it. Although, if the binding started to fall out, that might be a built-in excuse to scan all the pages and not have to lug around the book at all.   ;o)

Mine has fallen apart. It's also a signed copy. I got a comb binder for Christmas to bind all the sweet pdfs I purchased from dndclassics.com. I took all the pages out, scanned the cover, printed the cover out on glossy photo paper, and rebound the PHB. Actually, I bound it several times as I broke the book up into parts. It's pretty sweet having a separate spell book.

I don't think I have my original receipt any more ... and I can't really be without a PHB for several weeks. I guess I am stuck with my defective book.
