| #1ThorgritAnvilforgeMay 15, 2015 14:22:27 | I'm interested in picking up the Elemental Evil: Princes of the Apocalypse adventure, but I have a few questions:
1. Reviews I've read say there's a conversion guide in the back to set it in campaign settings other than Forgotten Realms. I've long been a fan of Eberron, and it's been reported to include that. Could anyone who has the adventure comment on how in-depth the conversion is, especially people who are familiar with Eberron? Are the big bads in PotA tied to existing Eberron big bads? Are FR names, factions, and places scattered throughout the book, meaning a conversion could include lots of yellow sticky notes?
2. Does the book contain stats for all the monsters and foes PCs might face? For ones not new to the book, can the stats be taken from the DM Basic Rules, or would I also need a Monster Manual to run it? I don't have the most disposable of incomes at the moment, so I've largely been running off of my PHB, Basic Rules, and a friend's LMoP for additional opponent stats. |

2. The book includes the stats for all the NPCs and monsters unique to the adventure. For everything else, you will either need the Monster Manual or the free pdf supplement downloadable from the PotA product page on the D&D website. |

Thanks for the pointer to the supplemental PDF with all the items and monsters that aren't in the Basic Rules! That's going to be awesome, not just for running this adventure, but for additional options in other games, until I finish my collection of the core 3 books. |
