Is anyone else experiencing extremely slow scrolling on the new Basic D&D PDF? It lags horribly and I can't find a solution online. Has anyone found a work-around?

What PDF viewer are you using? Did you download it, or are you just viewing it in your browser?
I've had some PDFs that are so heavy in complexity (fancy backgrounds that are huge images) they lag out almost every PDF viewer I try. Although this one seems kind of complex, it still runs pretty smooth for me.
I'm using Adobe Acrobat 10.x. Does it work better in a browser? I hadn't tried that.
Is anyone else having issues in Acrobat?

I'm using Foxit. No problem for me.
Might want to update to 11.
on an older machine maybe use foxit right click and save the pdf then open it localy. worst case if your pc cant handle it print the sucker

I shoudl have mentioned make sure not to let it install any "free extras" and never let it run any updates.
The Foxit installer and updates come bundled with adware, PUP and in some cases malware. if you install it vanila it should be fine though
Yeah, I use Foxit as well. I bought PhantomPDF Standard for my desktop and run Foxit Reader on my laptop. You can save form fillable PDFs with reader. You can make form fillable PDFs with Standard. I also like how you can have all the PDFs tabbed in Foxit.
Doing forms in PhantomPDF is godly compared to Adobe Acrobat. When copying fields in the PDF it does not automatically link them requiring you to manual change the name of each field. To change the tab order, you just right click one of the fields on the page you want to set, then click on them in the order you want. If you mess-up, just keep clicking from the last good one. You then click where there are no fields to end.
