Staff of Songbirds   A four foot long staff with a metal bird on top.   Up to three times per day may be activated to summon 1d4 times 1d6 songbirds of 1d4 rarity.    Rarity 1: common birds to the region 2: rare birds to the region 3: common birds from a nearby region 4: very rare birds, likely from another part of the world     This staff is a variant of the Summon Monster or Summon Creature spell. The birds called are unharmed and not disturbed by the spell. They will act for the most part randomly, being songbirds they are not particularly intelligent.  They tend to sing and fly about and will gravitate around the staff or user unless willed to fly in a general direction or disperse. The birds called will follow basic direction as willed by the user for up to an hour per caster level. The birds then seek comfortable nesting areas or food and water. If not directed, they tend to simply fly around and sing.   This staff can create Inspiration in druids, rangers or bards in the right circumstances.   If used by a caster who has Inspiration, it calls 2d6 x 2d4 birds.    Requires a masterwork staff, feathers of seven different colors, from seven different birds and the feat, create staff. the staff must be wood or metal.
