#1 DMShag514 Jul 15, 2014 18:17:49	Just got my new copy of the D&D Starter Set. I've been playing AD&D since 1986 and have recently been trying to teach the game to my son and a group of his friends. It's been a challenge. I had great success teaching them FFG's Star Wars game using that systems Starter Box so I decided to do the same with this new edition of D&D. I got everything the box said i should. The rule book, the adventure book, the dice and 5 pregen characters. 2 fighters, a cleric and 2 identical rogues. I'm betting money this is a mistake and that one of these rogues should have been a wizard. My local B&N where i got the game won't exchange it since i've taken of the shrink wrap. So my propblem is, how do i a copy of the missing character sheet. I have the basic rules and could always just roll up a wizard but i would like to have the complete set as it was intended. Any sugestions?

#7 HollowMan42 Jul 15, 2014 20:36:01	I would raise hell with Barnes and Noble. If you're exchanging for the same item, there should be no issue whatsosver that it's opened. How ELSE are you supposed to discover if there is content missing?   -HM
#8 Noon Jul 15, 2014 20:54:47	Generally being able to exchange an item for the same item when it's missing parts is supported by law.   Don't just assume the front counter staff are telling the truth on the matter - there's no law that gets them in trouble when they say they can't exchange something when legally they are obliged to.
#9 alienux Jul 16, 2014 10:16:01	Yeah, typically the rule is you can't return it once you've taken the shrinkwrap off, but there is absolutely no reason you shouldn't be able to exchange it for another copy of the same thing.
#10 Brock_Landers Jul 16, 2014 13:08:18	Something I find annoying is in the monster section, for their attacks it lists "one creature" for some monsters, and "one target" for some others.   "reach 5ft, one creature"   "reach 5ft. one target"   Well, which is it?
