Hey folks, got my starter set in the mail today. Apparently it was at the post office yesterday and they forgot to give it to me. Jerks.

I was going to upload some pictures, but I have no idea how to do it on here, so I'll just post a link to my blog. Enjoy!

Alright!!!  How much of the material have you read through?  Will you be running the game this weekend?

Oh, question... so I think I might only have three of my 5 players this weekend. How many people are recommended for adventuring using this adventure?  Can you play successfully with 3 and modify encounters etc?  Or does it suggest the DM to NPC some of the other characters sans 5 players?

Looks good rookrock!

I'm on my way downtown right now to grab a copy of the Starter Set!  Finally!  Maybe I'll be able to contribute something fun to this thread later ;)

I know they have mentioned how turns are changing, like move, action, bonus action, reaction. Just never thought about what a great system it has the potential to be. One example is the mage spell Shield, which can be cast as a reaction to a hit or being targeted with magic missile, giving +5 to AC vs the physical attack that triggered it until the end of next turn and no damage from magic missile, again until the end of the next turn. Good stuff I see for sure.

So the Shield of F...You has survived the transition from 4th edition to 5th, even with an uprade from +4 to +5.

Nice to know.

Just picked up my copy at 401 Games on Yonge St. in Toronto.  When I picked it up, the store had been open for just over an hour, and the guy at the counter was already commenting on how they were going to have to order more copies soon.
