| #2MightyZehirAug 15, 2014 5:17:22 | It looks so happy. Another great artwork from the Monster Manual. This is shaping up to be one of my favorite monster book. |

| #4MecheonAug 15, 2014 5:23:54 | I have a soft spot for Flumphs
Floating jellyfish are always great |
| #5MechatarrasqueAug 15, 2014 8:07:54 | Small size and 1/8 CR. I think this will be a good familiar. |
| #6TiaNadiezjaAug 15, 2014 8:12:06 | You get a flumph, Mechagamera!
You get a flumph, malisteen!
You get a flumph, Mecheon!
You get no flumph, MightyZehir. Maybe next time.
I'm the first poster in this thread without an M name. |
| #7GrazelAug 15, 2014 8:25:02 | And that means you get a swarm of Flumphs, be careful I hear they breed like tribbles! |
| #8MarandahirAug 15, 2014 8:34:04 | And I don't either get or not get a flumph, Tia? >_> I was an M-named person in the thread too!!! |

| #10DaganevAug 15, 2014 9:26:31 | Why is the flying sphegetti monster called a flumph? |
| #11MarandahirAug 15, 2014 9:29:37 | Because the FSM is their God, and they were made in his noodly image. |

| #14LucienderAug 15, 2014 10:47:16 | What's so special about the Flumph?
But seriously...what's up with this creature that some are ecstatic to see it included? |
| #15SkedrixAug 15, 2014 11:00:34 | I don't rightly know, either--I have limited experience with 2E, mostly played 3/3.5E and 4E, and so have no personal experience with flumphs. However, after reading the description, I know the perfect way to add it to my next campaign, and am actually a little excited to do so. |

| #19Luis_CarlosAug 15, 2014 12:58:22 | D&D has got lots of creatures could be used for a collectabling battling arena monster like Pokemon or Digimon.
How would be a flumph symbiont? I would like a module about biopunk grafts. |

| #23pukunuiAug 15, 2014 16:55:40 | Chain warlocks are allowed to choose other creatures as their familiars. I would allow one to choose a flumph. |
| #24NoonAug 15, 2014 17:13:52 | Do they still have the backstory that they are defenders against cthulhu'ian forces? |

| #26GrazelAug 15, 2014 19:57:06 | Actually the Flumph are the deities of the FSM. The FSM was made in their image. For those not in the know the flumph was originally presented in a Dragon magazine article as part of an April Fools list of monsters, many of which got added to books later because they became so popular. The wolf-in-sheeps-clothing (can't recall it's actual name, but it looked like a tree stump with a rabbit on top of it but was actually a carnivorous creature that used the "rabbit" lure to draw prey close to it) was another that caught on from that article. These predate the FSM by about 20 years. |

| #29Azzy1974Aug 15, 2014 21:39:17 | Wow, they actually made flumph interesting! These guys have been a running joke since they appeared in the 1e Fiend Folio—they're LG floating pancakes with eye stalks and tentacles. You gotta love 'em. |
