I've got my take on the Warden class from 4th ed here.

I felt the Oath of Ancients subclass for the Paladin missed the mark as for me the defining aspect of the Warden was it's forms that it could adopt which the Paladin Is missing. Having looked through the PDF I thought the best framework within 5th edition for that was the druid's wild shape ability. It doesn't hurt that they're both primal flavoured classes.

The forms are obviously increases in damage and/or survivability so I've balanced that around the Circle of the Moon subclass. I've reduced the length you can be in a form for to minutes as for me being unable to speak or cast spells of use items comes at a steep cost which the Green Guardian obviously gets around. So I reduced the timeframe to help balance that a bit better.

i'd be interested to hear what people thought.

Druid Circles get features at 2nd, 6th, 10th, and 14th level.  You're only giving features at 2nd and 10th.  Is Magical Attacks what they get at 6th?  Is Saving Grace the 14th level feature?

About History to get inspiration my suggestion is the lupercalia and the luperci.
