OK. So, i am one of those guys who enjoys some semblance and continuity in my DnD games; especially when I DM. I am wondering if there is the mention of a time frame anywhere regarding how much of it has passed between 4th and 5th Edition? For example on Page 4 of the 4E Forgotten realms Campaign Guide that mentions 100 years has passed between 3.5 and 4th; I just applied this to all my4E campaign realms. Any clues?

References in Lost Mines (the adventure in the Starter Set) indicate that it takes place 30 years after Mt Hotenow erupted. That happened in 1451 DR, so that would put it at 1481 DR. The references may be approximate, so it might be a bit later but definitely in that ballpark. Based on the novels, the Sundering comes to an end sometime in the late 1480s, so that's also possible. In either case, this is shortly after the 4e timeline which centered on 1479 DR.
