| #1ModusPonensMar 18, 2015 17:44:58 | I know there's already a thread with a similar premise, but there's no room for this thread in that one...
That said, I was never a fan of the 4E Warlord class. It felt too meta and relied on telling others what to do. It always struck me as more intuitive that a tactician in a fight would be more likely to survey a situation and tell others what needs to be done, not necessarily who needs to do it.
Anyway, here's my stab at a fighter subclass that attempts to bridge the gap between the Lazylords and the 5E design paradigm. I'm interested to get feedback on this, but I can only imagine how many people I'll iritate just by posting this:
------------
Tactical
Levelheaded
Military Science Multiple tactical areas can overlap, allowing allies to benefit from two different tactical options in the same round.
Art of War
Warlord Also, you employ a subtle but constant tactical approach to every situation you encounter. As a bonus action on your turn, you can simultaneously gain the benefits of each of your tactical options. This effect lasts for one hour, and you must complete a short or long rest before using this ability again. |

Flavor wise these abilities may be problematic for some players. |
