#1 tehsquirrely Jul 15, 2014 11:21:34	So I'm really excited for 5th edition, and this isn't a gripe thread, just in case you thought it might be. Rather it is an open suggestion of things I know personally I'd love to see more of in the new incarnation of D&D, so feel free to add your voice and put up what you'd like to see too. For me the list goes as follows: 1. More Boxes, I liked the return of the boxed product in 4th edition, they look great on the shelf, and they always have lots of neat stuff. Just less cardboard and more paper please, unless it's monster tokens I gotta say I LOVE everything about monster tokens. 2. Setting stuff. 4th had such a paultry selection of setting material, and i feel like setting material goes a long way to making the game more interesting. It doesn't have to be a return to the days of 2nd ed's setting craze (though I sure would love that), but more than two books per setting and more than one setting per year would be grand. Also I would like to see more focus on offbeat settings, we all already have 30 million forgotten realms books, can we get some Ravenloft or Al-Qadeem please? 3. Video games. I can't remember the last time I played a good video game with the D&D logo on it. 4th seemed like the perfect system to translate into a video game, but there was never a tie-in. I miss those, can we get some more please? 4. Random tables!!! We've already seen a couple in the Basic Rules and that's exciting but 4th REALLY missed a mark when it didn't have a single random table in any book. I love random tables, I don't always use them, but I am really grateful to have them when I do.
