I'm not talking about other WOTC products, like settings, or even other game company products, but rather products from other companies that are DnD themed or licensed. For example, I'd really like to see a DnD themed version of Clash of Clans or something similar. I also really like the Kre-O mini-figs that are DnD themed, altho I can never really find any in the store. And I would love to see some large scale wargame products, kinda like the Battles of Westeros board game, but with a DnD theme linked to one of the settings like Forgotten Realms or Greyhawk. I guess they did something like this with Conquest of Nerath awhile back, but not sure how that went over...
Anyways, what are some other tie-in products that you would like to see? |

The 4e tiles were cool, but didn't interlock, and various battle maps are just a folded poster map. The 4e-era board games had interlocking tiles, but they only worked with one side.
Get all that right with quality, double sided thick card stock, and interlocking, all in one product and then you'd have some seriously useful battle grid/dungoen tiles...A product that would also cross over into many other games, editions, etc. as well.

On topic: a good toyline, lego, whatever. That would be great for keeping current with the future generations. I'd love to see a weekly live-action TV show about delving into a dark, claustrophobic dungeon filled with unknown dangers and paranoia. "Tomb of Horrors: The TV Show." More realistically... maybe another cartoon? Something like the Star Wars cartoons (Clone Wars and Rebels)? That might be more doable. Not another crap movie, please.
Boardgames, a minis game or wargame and comics. |
