| #1GrazelApr 06, 2015 20:56:13 | So it's been a while but I've uploaded a new version of my Excel Spreadsheet Index.
With the new version I went to dropbox to keep it in Excel version as the google docs spreadsheet was hard to update alongside the excel sheet I use personally, and I didn't like the lack of text alignment formatting.
I've added some new tabs in this version as well due to the recent material that's come out. This material consisted of 4 new sources for data: UA: Eberron, UA: Class Customization, Elemental Evil Player's Companion, and Princes of the Apocalypse. I also changed the sources column to be a separate column for each source with it's page number for easier sorting.
Here's the list of the tabs currently:
There's also an overview tab with the current document version, upload date, a summary of how to use the sheet and a change log to show what sources were added and any other changes made to the structure of the document. |

Do you have any plans to make the lists sortable?

| #3GrazelApr 09, 2015 17:40:53 | The lists are sortable if you use excel. Just go to Data Sort and choose the columns you want to sort on (all columns have a header row). There's even a hidden column for sorting monsters that groups them better than just alphabetical by name (like all dragons get put together, and listed in order by age category for each color). I just have that "group sort" column hidden so it doesn't take up screen space when viewing the tab, but it shows up as an option on the data sort for which column to sort on.
This is also why I made a separate column for each source so you can sort each tab by a specific source to see what's in it. By default each tab should be sorted by the 'Name" column alphabetically though I may have forgotten to do that after adding the latest batch of content. |
