In the Tyranny of Dragons launch video on the main Wizards of the Coast page, there is a female elf who uses some kind of energy whip to entangle, lash and destroy foes. What spell, power or item was that supposed to be?
My immediate thought was thunderwave. But it could be a different spell.
When I first saw the video I thought it was the druid cantrip thorn whip. That will be what thorn whip looks like in my head from now on anyway.
I think in the DDO game they just released a new class called a "scourge warlock". I wonder if this is related.
