Just a investion, no need to list reason.

1.According your opinion, which class is the most powerful?

2.Which class is your favourite?

Powerful is subjective. Combat focused, social focused, exploration focus, or a mix? And what level?
Favorite. Wizard. But I like a lot of the classes in 5e.

Most powerful is subjective and I find overall balance reasonable.   Favorite class is bard.

cannot ask "which class is the most powerfull" since the class bring different thing in a group and excel in different area. Would be like asking which food is the best for your health, Apple, milk, real cereal (not sugary kid cereal) or Chicken.

You could ask :

Who's the best melee damage dealer?

Who's the best defender?

Who's the best range damage dealer?

Who's the best support?

Who's the best controller?,

Who's the best Party face (talking to NPC)?

Who's the best to by pass obstacle (lock door, trap, cliff, river etc... skill check)

And even this should be subdivise even more. for damage dealer you are looking for a NOVA damage dealer? an at will damage dealer? or a damage dealer optimized for 3 combat per long rest?

And even this cannot really be answer because I can make a sorcerer that will be a better range damage dealer then your fighter. But if you have take short rest the fighter become better, but if you face creature with resistance to non magical damage, sorcerer become better again no matter how many short rest you take, but if ....

So if you want a real good answer you have to also give us your campaign assumption:

How many short rest on average per day?

How many encounter on average per day?

What kind of enemies?

Are you fighting singles big strong ennemies? or you are fighting armies of weakling?

Are you doing more RP then combat?

etc...

Also depend on your level of skills. if you are a new player, a spellcaster might be VERY difficult to play since you need to understand all your spell, make the right choice, and manage your ressources accordingly. compare to a rogue assassin who only got at will stuff and can use all his stuff all the time without limitation. So even if i would give you the perfect build for the perfect spellcaster and that the build is SOOO perfect that the ENTIRE community here would agree (which is impossible) if you spend your big spel on the first encounter against goblin and are left with only cantrip when you meet the BBEG because you don't understand how resource management work yet, a badly build fighter will outperform you.

What level?

Level 1, clerics or monks.

Level 11, it's probably the fighter.

Level 17, wizard or sorcerer's.

Level 20, moon druid.

There's not really a most powerful, it's too context dependent - which is a sign the classes are pretty well-balanced across the pillars.

My favorite is the Warlock. I like the AEDU-esque design, and I like it even better as one class among many others that don't all follow that formula.

Warlock is what i'd play if I were a player and i think it is one of the best classes in a 'who can beat who up' sort of way. (pvp)

1. Most powerful?  Ehh...too wide a net there.

2. Favorite?  Actually, it's all of them - or to be more specific, MC characters.  The new MC system (especially character level spell slots) is pretty sweet since it allows me to make PCs that feel more 'real' to me.  My Clr1/War3/Bard8 is 12th level and can't cast 5th level spells, but has so many great options for any situation at our table that it doesn't really matter he isn't as 'powerful' a caster as he can be.

Rogues are pretty powerful early on as well.

Druids and Wizards/Sorcerers powerful on paper but no DM is going to put up with conjure woodland beings or simulacrum abuse in a real game.

Shapechange is overrated due to concentration. Or impracticality of perma shapechanging while adventuring.

In combat the most powerful class is probably a Crossbow Expert Sharpshooting Eldritch Knight at later levels.
Outside of combat probably a Lore Bard at later levels.

1.According your opinion, which class is the most powerful? Usually whatever homebrew is posted...

2.Which class is your favourite? The ones in the PHB. No, seriously. I want to play them all! It's so hard deciding, I usually end up trying to MC just to get more face-time with them.

Fighter at level 11 with a +1 weapon and great weapon master does ~43 DPR (including action surge) against an AC 16 target and about 35 DPR vs an AC 18 target.

I agree with what others have said: "power" is subjective and dependent.

That being said, the "best" character (IMO and regardless of class) are the ones that doing stuff the most often. Let's face it, I am there to play. So, I tend to create very well-rounded characters. As long as I have something to DO, then I am having fun. And, since it's a game we're talking about, that's really my goal, isn't? (Sitting around, waiting for my time to shine? That's not my style. I want to be doing stuff, as often as possible).

Yes, there are certian characters who might really shine in their own balliwick; but in other situations, maybe they don't fare quite as well. It's fairly easy in D&D to make a character who is awesome at one thing, still pretty decent at a lot of other stuff, and all-but-useless at the rest ... but, it's also fairly easy to make a character who is pretty good at almost everything, even if she/he isn't the best at anything.  The ultimate character, for my style of play, falls somewhere between those two types.

So, for that reason, the Lore Bard has been a lot of fun, for me ... but I already have my mind on a few "future" characters that I'd like to play.

At lower to mid levels, I'd probably call it about even between msot classes, with honorable mentions to Bards for early Smite grabbing.

End-game levels, Wizard easy, and Moon Druids ocne they hit level 20. Level 20 Moon Druids have functionally infinite hp in an edition where it can actually matter, and Wizards can get infinite Simulacrums as soon as they get 9th level spells.

IMO: beasmasters just need a revivify beast.spell, and clarification that they get hit dice.

That actually makes me wonder: how many and of what type of hit dice does the animal companion have for healing during short rests?  If it only has the hit dice from its base animal entry then it can barely recover health outside of spells or long rests, which decreases usefulness/utility.  Being able to revive their companion would also be nice, instead of having to spend 8 hours to gain a new one from the creatures in the area, and I think also show that the ranger has as much of a bond to their companion as the companion does to the ranger.
