Why are you trying to hurt me?

So I'm working my way through the Princes of the Apocalypse as any self-respecting DM should. I like the sandbox feel. and Red Larch is a good starting location, BUT...

I'm trying to figure out a logical path for where the characters should proceed to after the whole Tomb of Moving Stones thing and I'm left to figure that out on my own.

Beyond that, why, WHY would you lay out a book where my first encounters are in Chapter 6?! This is beyond dumb. Come on people. BASIC layout skills please! Christ.

I've got rumors in Red Larch that could potentiially lead my characters off to encounters that are way out of their ability to handle and I'm supposed to flip through all the content and figure out which one makes sense? Of course, I can. I have no choice but this is not how to be helpful to a DM.

Truly, truly awful organization in this book. I had hoped after all the gaffes in HotDQ that a lesson would be learned. No.

Maps where North is shown where naturally you assume is an eastern direction?! Why? what does this gain for anyone? How is this helpful? Even the editors missed that detail in the text.

Page 151 Lance Rock

it reads as follows....

Northwest of Red Larch, Lance Rock is visible...

Well according to the map on the previous page...

Lance Rock is actually to the SW of Red Larch thanks to the genius move of having the compass point north to where east should be!

All I'm asking is for is some quality editing. Some logic and some organization.

This should be in the dm help forums.
