I'm guessing that they won't.

Shouldnt be too hard to adjust though. Hopefully those modules will still be close to functional after basic/starter set roll out. I havent had the chance to play them and it might be fun to at some time.

I have a feeling all the playtest modules will still be more or less usable without any real adjustments. Some of the monsters might have too few hit points or whatever, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. 5e's monsters are quite modular, and it really doesn't matter if, say, some hobgoblins have the Steadfast and Disciplined traits while others have Martial Advantage.

Sounds like an easy community project

Can we not just use the equivilents from the monster manual when it's released?

I think it would be a great community project to update the NPCs and variant monsters not in the Monster Manual to the new final 5th edition Monster Math.  In particular, I'm interested in updating Legacy of the Shard, Murder in Baldur's Gate, Ghosts of Dragonspear Castle and Scourge of the Sword Coast.

Greg Bilsland hinted on twitter that they may release updated monster stats for Legacy of the Crystal Shard. If they do, they may also provide updated monster stats for the other adventures too. No promises, though.
