Would The Holy Crusade Work?

The MM and HotDQ can't be to far away and I am thinking of finishing up our level 8 game in order to play it. I have a theory that DPRis a little over rated in this edition by the theory crafter and if you really want to drive the DM nuts you build around the whole party as synergy is better than an individuals min/max efforts.

One thing I have not tested yet is a party built around the short rest mechanic as I think this could be very abusive. Another idea also struck me and I'm not sure if this would actually work.

 The Spanish Inquisition

1 War Cleric (warcaster, sword and board)

1 Tempest Cleric (warcaster feat, two handed weapon)

1 Life Cleric (healing feat, support, healing, blasting)

1 Light Cleric (artillery)

1 Nature Cleric (Druid sub, another front line type)

One of the clerics is a dex based cleric using the criminal background and is a wood elf and uses guidance to replace the rogue probably the light cleric. You do not have the stickiness of a fighter but you have a lot of spells and healing available.

Clerics of multiple domains are nice as an "all of" party, but I prefer "Oops, all bards!" instead. Yeah they only have "two" subclasses, but man, the amount of skills and spell choices you can cover...

I would totally play in an all cleric party. As long as I get the war domain and martial adept feat I'm good.
