If anyone has read the new book how is it compared to the older ones?? From what I've read from the descriptions it sounds like Ravenloft is turning modern?

Try the Horror section instead of the Scifi/Fantasy section. That's where the Borders in my town had hidden it. If anyone has read the new book how is it compared to the older ones?? From what I've read from the descriptions it sounds like Ravenloft is turning modern? It's not "modern", but it's partially set on Gothic Earth. The writing quality is vastly more sophisticated and atmospheric than any of the previous books, almost like something by China Mieville.
