#1 jacl34 Nov 09, 2008 20:56:35	We're going through the Castle Ravenloft adventure and encountered a Raver Nymph that causes blindness if you don't succeed on a fort save. A couple questions to anyone who might know: 1) If our 8th level paladin want to charge at her and look at directly at the floor, her feet or turn his head and try to attack using just peripheral vision, is that allowed to avoid the fort save against blindness and what are the attack penalties in melee? 2) How do you cure permanent blindness if you fail the save? 3) If our sorcerer cast Luminous assassin ( PHBK 2) does the luminous assassin have to make the fort save as well or is it immune? #2 scipio Nov 10, 2008 3:36:33	While I don't know the answer to the 3rd question I can help on the first 2. 1, Averting your eyes as that gives the opponent total concealment and as such gives you a miss chance (I think 50% but I'm not sure on the actual total. It's the same as them being invisible.) 2. To cure total blindness, I believe you need a Heal spell.
