On behalf of the Oberlin Gaming and Roleplaying Establishment (OGRE!) at Oberlin College I'd like to announce that we'll be running some Living Forgotten Realms tables at this year's Obercon! Obercon is run on the Oberlin College campus, offering many different games and fantasy events.

I'll be heading up the LFR room this year, and right now I'm looking for a bit of information from anyone who might be interested in coming and gaming with us:

- Who's interested in attending, first off. I'm likely to run out of space if I get a lot of interest - I'm constrained by physical space here and we're going to be hard-pressed to physically fit more than four or five tables into the space I have. (This being the first year we're running RPGA at Obercon, we're starting small. If there's a lot of interest, we'll look at expanding for next year.)

- What level of modules would you be interested in playing? 1-4? 4-7? 7-10?

- Would you like to play either of the Core Special modules? (SPEC1-1 Shades of the Zhentarim, and SPEC1-2 Zhent's Ancient Shadows)

We'll be running three slots of events - two slots Saturday afternoon (1pm-6pm; 6pm-11pm) and one slot Sunday afternoon (1pm-6pm). Costs will be minimal to nonexistent - admission to the convention itself is free, and if there's a per-ticket cost (undecided as yet) it'll be on the order of a dollar or two.

If you're interested, please let me know! Also note that I'll be posting similar notices to some Yahoo lists - please only answer me once. I don't need to get any more confused than I already am.

See you at Obercon!

The Core Special Modules would be cool. Let me see if I can pencil this Con in.

I was thinking of driving there for one of the Sunday games but there doesn't seem to be any information for Sunday gaming on the registration page. Is there any more information on this?
Thanks.

We made the decision to cancel the Sunday slot and run LFR games on Saturday only. That's Easter Sunday and we were only going to get one slot in anyway, but what it really came down to was that I got no responses showing interest in playing on Sunday.

Please note that we've only cancelled LFR games for Sunday - Obercon itself will still be open from 1pm-6pm on Sunday, and as I understand it there will be other forms of D&D as well as Magic: the Gathering, LARP, and other things going on. If you'd like more information on that, please contact me privately and I'll put you in touch with the folks in charge of the convention.

Remember, the event is this coming Saturday, and we still have some seats available. If you're going to be in the area, come on out and play!
