Delve Character Creation at Origins?

Anyone heard about the rules for character creation for the dangerous delve at Origins? With two weeks to go some friends and I have signed up but aren't sure yet what characters can be created.

The ruling to date has been that you *may* take lower-level items if you so desire.

Think of these more as caps. Taking two 5th level items, doesn't let you take an 8th level because "it balances out".

1 item of (not more than) 7th level.
1 item of (not more than) 6th level.
1 item of (not more than) 5th level.
