I wanted to let everybody know about a convention happening October 15-18, 2009 in Hudson Ohio (near Akron just off the ohio turnpike). Its called Con on the Cob 2009 and one of the main events is Living Forgotten Realms (Dungeons and Dragons 4e). Every published adventure from level 1-14 will be run at this convention, including: SPEC 1-1: Shades of the Zhentarim SPEC 1-2: Zhent's Ancient Shadows SPEc 1-3: Ghosts of the Past ADCP 1-1: Jungle Hunt (For adventuring Companies) MINI 1-1: Stirring the Embers (Mini Campaign) MINI 1-2: The Burning Scent of Perfumed Swords QUES 1-1: Black Cloaks and Bitter Rivalries (Zhentarim Infiltration Quest) Player Badges are $35 for the four days. It is held at the Clarian Hotel and Convention Center in Hudson, Ohio and the room rates for the convention is $75. (One of the lowest for any convention I have ever been at). Anybody wishing to judge for this can send an email to [email]LFR.ConOnTheCob2009@mstb.net[/email]. Judge Badges are $20. Those wishing to judge for LFR can contact the LFR Coordinator (LFR.ConOnTheCob@mstb.net) (You do not need to be a certified judge since certified judges will be there to supervise). You will purchase the judge badge for LFR through him.
