It doesn't look like it is on the schedule.

That sucks because it was my favorite thing about Gencon.

In fact is there anything for non LFR people to do other than the 1 hour delve?

You are correct (there is no Ultimate Delve at DDXP this year). Time and authors came down to  a crunch and we decided to focus our work on the Dark Sun Preview event (a non-LFR event to answer your other question) instead of the UDD.

The UDD is planned once again for the summer shows.

You still have Classic Delves and the format is revised, which might make it pretty interesting (and hopefully no longer frustrating). I think Dave will have some announcements here at some point regarding format.

You have the Dark Sun game, an opportunity to see the setting and associated rules some 6-7 months early.

You have the seminars, which are sounding pretty cool.

You have some other events like Miniatures, Three-Dragon Ante, and LFR Open Play.

A pretty good mix even if you aren't blown away (as most of us are) by the never seen before LFR event news (interactive, linked modules).

For non-LFR folks, here's how I'd fill out a schedule:

1 slot of Dark Sun Preview
1+ slots of Convention Delve (depending on how often you want to play)
1+ slots of Three-Dragon Ante Tournament (one each day)
3 slots of seminars (Dark Sun, Adventure Design, 2010 Product Preview, all kinds of good stuff)
2+ slots of D&D Miniatures play with the DDM Guild guys
1 slot of getting books signed/chatting with WotC folks/shopping at vendors/etc.
1 slot for a nice dinner (I recommend Club Soda)

That gets you to 10 slots, and the Ultimate Dungeon Delve would've only taken up 1 slot anyway. Given, a couple of these slots are more social than gaming, but it's good to take time to do those things too.

We've added more non-LFR opportunities this year over last by increasing our seminars, and swapped out the Ultimate Delve for the Dark Sun Preview (which should be really fun). It'll return this summer, most likely.

My friends and I had a blast with the UDD at Origins last year, and we didn't even win   We are hoping for a rematch this summer!

Chris,

How can we get UDD or Dark Sun for Comicpalooza gaming?  I see that Con support is not ready yet for 2010... and I didn't see those in my RPGA event sanctioning list...  we have a HUGE gaming area at the George R. Brown convention center in Houston, and we want to be able to drag some comic fans and walk-bys into our gaming rooms.
