Greetings Gamers!

U-Con 2010 is less than two months away and we are in high gear preparing.  The U-Con website is open and ready to accept your preregistration.  ucon-gaming.org

Our guest of honor this year is author Paul S. Kemp.  Paul is a New York Times best-selling author of fantasy fiction. Many of his novels are set in the Forgotten Realms, featuring the assassin priest Erevis Cale. This year marked his first foray into the Star Wars universe. His novel, Crosscurrent, quickly became a bestseller, and he has two more Star Wars novels due out in the next couple years.  www.ucon-gaming.org/events/goh.php

Also, we are host to the last semi-final for the Rio Grande Game Design Competition.  The winner of our contest will go on to the Chicago Toy and Game Fair where it will compete to be published.  Game designers must enter by October 15.  We hope everyone will playtest and help select the winner!  www.ucon-gaming.org/riogrande.php

We currently have over 250 event, so it's shaping up to be a great year.  We will continue to accept events, space permitting.  Events must be received by October 22.

We look forward to seeing you in November!

P.S. LFR events include an opportunity to play at a table with Forgotten Realms author Paul Kemp and get a sneak peek at the subject of next year's Netheril plotline!

So is 'Legacy of Shadows'  a LFR MYRE, or a playtest?

I have also been advised to clarify that Paul Kemp is a player at the table, not the DM. The adventure itself is a MYRE written and DMed by the writing director of Netheril (me), who lucked out in that he was coordinating LFR for a convention that Paul Kemp was Guest of Honor at.

I can't attend (unless you are moving the con to the Netherlands), but I am interested to read the MYRE.
