I have a group that plays on a weekly basis, so I was wondering, if we play Keep on the Shadowfell, can each week that we play the adventure be sanctioned and thus be eligable for the reward points? Or is that just a one time shot? Thanks for your input! |

When you sanction an event, you're sanctioning the play of that adventure from beginning to end - no matter how many sessions it takes to complete. ![]() |

To do one you'll need your GM to take the test online (not updated for 4E yet) to be a Herald level GM. Once he/she is they can order adventures from the RPGA website that you can get credit towards. Once you run the adventure for a specific character the GM will submit this info the RPGA to give the players credit. You will only be running/getting credit for the 1st time a character runs an adventure, though with the new rules you could get additional credit by running an adventure with other characters. I don't know if the introductory adventure is one that's officially avialable for play credit, but all the upcomming LFR adventures will be. |

If an adventure supplies characters (such as the LFR Preview adventure Scalegloom Hall), do the players have to use those characters? or are they free to create their own, and thus get their new character started for the LFR campaign? |

Well, there's nothing technically preventing you from letting your players make up their own characters for the LFR previews...but, as they aren't part of the LFR campaign, they can't play characters there, get any in-character rewards for that module (XP, GP, items, etc.), and then apply them to their LFR PCs. In other words, there's no in-character benefit to your players for playing the previews. |
