They are free to turn away players for whatever reason. There are lots of LFR games online. If one is being played in a format you don't like, find another one. Besides, do you really think you would play well with the type of DM who would set the type of requirements you disagree with so much? Anyways, voice chat is a pretty arbitrary thing to set as the bar. How about banning DMs who use colour maps? After all, someone might have a monocrome monitor. Or how about banning any game that can;t be played by text message on a cell phone. Not everyone has a computer after all. |
| #4_Mithreinmaethor_Mar 26, 2009 22:11:59 | Apparently you are not to bright. You have started 3 threads now for this? Its not going to get changed just because you want it. Sorry. We have given you ideas on how to deal with this but yet you refuse to even try it appears. If they ban you you are only getting what you deserve |
| #5feyberryMar 26, 2009 22:14:10 | I'll keep starting threads until voice chat gets banned from online games. Removing the auditory aspect of a game opens up the game to more than just the people that can hear and talk. Requiring voice chat is discriminatory to those people who would not otherwise be able to play without an interpreter or a group that all "spoke" sign language. |

Because as has been stated the Gm and/or organizer can put what ever restrictions or requirements on the game that they choose to. They do not have to allow you to play. Enjoy the silence when you cant post anymore. |
