I took the test and passed. Then I scheduled a home game and downloaded the module that I will DM for the group.

Now I just need to help my gaming group members get DCI#s. What is the easiest way to do that? I have scheduled the event for the 27th so I have some time to figure it out.

Anyone?

If you are in the US, email dci@wizards.com, give them your DCI/RPGA number, your address, and ask them to send you some. If you are outside the US, look on the DCI pages to find the local contact details for the relevant office (in the UK it's dciuk@hasbro.co.uk for instance)

Alternatively, see if any local game stores etc have any RPGA or DCI cards. Note that you can't use RPGA cards with less-than-ten-digit numbers for new members any more, so if you find anyone offering to give you some of those they won't be any use.

Good luck, and have fun!

Okay thanks. I'm in Canada. I think I can request via email. I'll give it a try and see what happens.

Found this in the knowledge base:
New DCI Membership Cards
Message

How do I get more new DCI membership cards for my events?
Answer

If you are a tournament organizer, and need new DCI membership cards for your players, please send an email containing your full name, coordinator number, store name, and mailing address to dci@wizards.com. Please title the subject line DCI Membership Cards Request.

Guess the question is just because I've taken the Herald level test and organized an event does that qualify me as a tournament organizer?

I also didn't put "DCI Membership Cards Request" in the subject line so I think I'm going to resend the email with that subject line.

Being a Herald-Level GM makes you a "tournament organizer". Granted, we don't have "tournaments" but you still organize events, and that's what counts.

Becareful what you wish for. I sent ONE email asking for RPGA membership cards. I received them. And I recieved them. And I recieved them. At last count, I have 6 pads of them. Once you get on the mailing list, you will NEVER run short!
