The latest official podcast revealed the next reward is a Box. A storage box for DnD minis, power cards and the like. It'll feature Dark Sun artwork. Not as exciting as an adventure, but its free, so I wont complain!

If it is DS-based, I'm eager for it! After waiting years for brief articles in Dragon, getting all this DS stuff is fantastic. And, it is nice that this will be useful to DMs and even players. I wonder whether they will add a visual to some existing (third-party) product or make an entirely different one.

A couple of months ago, I got a D&D-branded box from my FLGS; they'd been sent them by WotC.  It came as a single sheet of plastic, and you folded it up to make a box.  It's about 2" by 3" by 4".  I'd suspect that the Dark Sun "goodie" will be similar, just with different art.

I never got my ship tiles.  I even ran some mods so I got the required amount in before the cut off.  Durn it.

Man, a VCL with no ship tiles? Did you contact CS?

Teos,
We missed ship tiles from the usual DM rewards (we got a set from DMing at Gencon).  Because the play records never got entered for DDXP, Origins, or Gencon in 2009, (in this case the first two) we did not have enough tables DM to qualify.  I complained to CS.  They looked into it for a couple of weeks, then came back saying the database entry was all hosed and there was nothing they could do.

Polishing cardboard, that takes skill.

This just in: its not just the DS box, it'll also include a deck of condition/status cards (dazed, stunned etc.). Nice! This comes from the 2nd DDXP podcast. Starting to think I'm the only one that listens to these things! Tongue out

Forget adventure, this could be really really cool if its a semi-quality item.  I'd love a great D&D box for my sessions worth of Dungeon Tiles

I have a feeling it won't be big enough for carrying Dungeon Tiles.  My guess would be it's big enough to carry power cards (the D&D box I referenced above is that size).

It's a little easier when it's glossy printed cardboard.

This box works very well for power cards in sleeves, but apparently I don't have enough characters to fill it. Oh well, I'll just make more. I really like the status cards too.

I would say that this reward makes up for getting Vistani-ed out of ship tiles.

As Keith noted, some people have gotten them already.  If past mailings are any indicator, it could take several weeks before everyone gets them (it seems that they don't mail them all out at once).

Mine showed up today 2-16-10, I think my postal service from west to east coast may be a bit slow due to snow =)

It's okay, figured out why mine isn't coming. Apparently you need to be signed up in 3 different places to get the rewards. First as a herald to judge, then with WPN if your running in a public place, then with DM rewards afterwards. All of which brings you through a convoluted amount of websites dating years back (to the time of living greyhwak.)

Customer service can't do anything about it either (apparently), pardon me I'm just a little bitter.

Mine came in on the 16th as well (even though I am in Portland... the mailing may not be coming via Seattle... or maybe there is just a batch mailing irrespective of destination).

Drorain, that's bad news. They really do need to make the main organized play pages clearer.

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic, but I know people who are signed up only with DM Rewards, and get their stuff.  And I am signed up in the 3 ways you mention, and I had to bug them to get Hommlet (which took months).  Got my ship tiles in a timely manner, though.

Just an FYI: the Dominated condition card you receive doesn't have the errata.

Aside from that, they're formated just like the power cards, and you get a box to fit them in, with space for what looks like 6 more classes' worth of cards.

Living in the Netherlands, and I don't have mine yet either (and I did get all other rewards so I am on the reward list ;) ).

I live in the States, and I just got mine.  Which is funny, because I never got the ship tles (not that it matters much since I don't use tiles) but I DM'd enocugh games for a reward before the tile deadline, and only 1 game since, yet I got this reward.  And I'm nto complaining because I'll get more use out of this than the tiles.
