Any New Campaigns?

With the advent of 4th Edition, most of my group has converted over. I used to be the dedicated DM for the Blackwheel Company faction from the Xen'drik Expeditions campaign, and I'm hoping to run an episodic 4E campaign much like Xen'drik. I would prefer not to run Living Forgotten Realms as I'm already playing in what will likely be a long running campaign, so I don't want to devote to much of my time to D&D.

So, once XE comes to a close, what's next in the pipeline? Besides LFR that is.

Hey all.

There were no updates given at GenCon yet, though Chris did mention that with GenCon over for the year, his focus would be turning toward new campaigns for next year.

That said, at DDXP he said that there would be a new Eberron campaign at DDXP09, based in Khorvaire, and using the D&D Campaigns system (like XE did). That may or may not still be the case, but it's worth hoping for (and voicing support for).

There's also quite a bit of momentum going on for Star Wars, so lots of people are hoping/expecting a new Star Wars campaign in the near future as well.

So, a new campaign in 2009? Guess it'll be around the same time the 4E Eberron Campaign Settings is released.Well, I am looking forward to it and also interested to see how they incorporate the new races (dragonborn, tiefling) into Eberron.

Sadly, we don't have that many people in my group that are interested in Star Wars Saga; mostly fantasy players, and most don't want to get involved in two different rulesets, despite their similiarities.

And I still have to finish some mods from Xen'Drik expeditions and some old LG and play more LFR, damn company, too much play opportunities and too much RL to get them all. Luxury problem I know :embarrass

Here's to hoping for a new Eberron Campaign. You have to like the campaign's model but the world is just wonderful. The EBCS and the EBPG are due somewhere in June or July so I'm not sure how Wizards is going to handle the launch at DnD XP 09 then.

Probably similar to the way they "previewed" LFR at DnD XP 08 but had the FRCS come out recently....
