| #2WolfStar76Jan 16, 2009 17:42:01 | I personally expect the new CCG next week - it would make sense to release before DDXP. The pessimist in me says it may not arrive until a day or two before the show, however. ![]() I haven't heard anything about convention kits. |
| #3HerrbardJan 16, 2009 18:35:01 | I personally expect the new CCG next week - it would make sense to release before DDXP. No, the day of the show. And we won't know what's going on at the show. And people will yell at us. ![]() OK, I'm being sarcastic, but doesn't it seem like this has happened before? A few times? Maybe? ;) I am saying all this in good humor. I have learned long ago to roll with the changes, and nothing makes me angry. I will be there doing my best to give players fun tables to play, no matter what! We all support you, Chris Tulach, in your incredibly overworked position! |

| #5smerwin29Jan 16, 2009 18:50:45 | *teleports Dan in Undermountain for good measure* And we all know what happens when Dan's PC gets teleported in Undermountain, right? Shawn's PC gets the snot kicked out of him! ![]() |
| #6JohnduBoisJan 16, 2009 19:26:05 | And we all know what happens when Dan's PC gets teleported in Undermountain, right? Shawn's PC gets the snot kicked out of him! Well, Dan broke Rule Three of Undermountain. Besides, nobody died (at least, I don't recall anybody dying. In that instance. I killed a lot of PCs at Origins 2007, all right?) |
| #7HerrbardJan 18, 2009 7:17:02 | Well, Dan broke Rule Three of Undermountain. Besides, nobody died (at least, I don't recall anybody dying. In that instance. I killed a lot of PCs at Origins 2007, all right?) 1. No character in our party died in Undermountain at Origins 07, although John certainly did try. ;) 2. I did not teleport in Undermountain. Our helpful wizard hit me with Benign Transposition to get himself out of trouble. So we both got removed from the dungeon, leaving poor Shawn's halfling to get the snot kicked out of him! :D And this will be my last off topic post. In this thread at least. |
| #8smerwin29Jan 18, 2009 8:55:43 | Title says it all. To make up for the horrific thread hijack, I'll try to answer. As others have said, the new CCGs generally come up a few days before a large convention--in this case, DDXP at the very end of January. Since I am not in charge of writing them (WotC writes them), I have no idea what their status is right now. The convention support packages are also not in my demesne, so I don't know that either. Shawn LFR Global Admin shamed thread hijacker |

I was hoping that maybe the Globals and perhaps Regionals got copies before release for perusal. Will have to wait and see what it looks like in a week or then |
| #10ibixatJan 19, 2009 1:28:05 | OK I'll hijack some more, Hey there Dan if you're still reading this thread, it's Brian from pittsburgh, next weekend I"ll expect more of the story on the undermountain teleport incident, I am of course jealous of your big card stack because of it =P but now I want to know more. And on the flip side, the on topic portion. I hope nothing currently allowed gets disallowed though I suppose that is unlikely since I may not see the CCG if released anew till the day of the con =P and well surprises can be well, surprising. |
