Any word on the WWD&DGD?

There hasn't been any official word yet on this year's event, that I'm aware of - though it's always possible that we'll get word at the RPGA Member's Meeting at DDXP in ~10 days.

It sounds like they are doing three Game Days. Tulach will probably tell people more at DDXP, but it looks like March for Game Day 1 - and Paragon play too! :D

Jan 17, 2009 8:40:26 I remember that the RPGA Report article of the January 16th, 2009 says that they will be three game days and the first one will be the March 21, 2009 (For some peopkle, end of winter and beginning of the spring).

It's the last paragraph of the article.
That's right, this year it's game days -- we're doing at least three, based around the release of the "twos" -- Player's Handbook 2, Monster Manual 2, and Dungeon Master's Guide 2. The first one, Player's Handbook 2, is coming up quick. We'll give you a brand-new paragon tier adventure to play and 11th-level characters using options from Player's Handbook 2 (and other upcoming books); just bring yourself and some dice to get in on the action! Mark your calendars for March 21, and make sure that you check with your local play spot to ensure they sign up to participate. More information on this and the other game day events later in the year will be posted on the RPGA site in February.

I'm curious to see the reports of RPGA meeting in D&DXP and discover the next events, specially those that will happen also here, in South America.

I would expect it will be like the Gameday. Since it is Paragon play, and a chance to try out PHBII stuff, it pretty much has to be. I mean, really, who is going to have an 11th level Druid in time for late March?

Jan 17, 2009 13:07:40 The LFR staff will keep an ear to the ground to see if there is a way to involve LFR in these plans. I obviously cannot make any promises, since I know only what was in the article yesterday, but we will investigate opportunities!

Jan 17, 2009 22:53:36 WWD&DGD with premade characters and LFR might not be a good combination... but perhaps at least one of these gamedays can be with a LFR special adventure, Shawn!!! I would enjoy it, everyone wants to play in Forgotten Realms!
