| #1ibixatOct 27, 2008 14:06:40 | or do they only get added when reported as playing in a game? I've been looking on the site for a way to add my characters since the GM told me I could at the game I played at this past weekend. I was able to get the account activated and setup so far based on the post by gamersgambit but I was just wondering if I could get the characters listed before they were played as well. |

| #3ibixatOct 27, 2008 14:53:24 | ok, I don't actually don't have the link for characters on the right side. For the links on the right I have My Links Home Personal Info Change Password My Events My Rewards Event Sanctioning Event Reporting Downloads Appeal Form Judge Center That's it, the word character doesn't even show up on the page when I'm signed in. |
| #4WolfStar76Oct 27, 2008 14:57:19 | There are two fixes for this: 1) Wait until an RPGA event is reported, and you'll be added to the RPGA player group. 2) Contact Customer service (http://wizards.custhelp.com) and ask them to add you to the RPGA Player's group so you can setup your characters before they get reported incorrectly. |
| #5pedrOct 27, 2008 15:49:49 | Is there a possibility that signing up for D&D Rewards (http://membership.wizards.com/signup/signup.aspx) will add the My Characters link? Obviously I can't check! |
| #6_Mithreinmaethor_Oct 27, 2008 15:59:38 | Is there a possibility that signing up for D&D Rewards (http://membership.wizards.com/signup/signup.aspx) will add the My Characters link? I was going to just offer this as an option to see if it helps as well. |
| #7ibixatOct 28, 2008 4:49:43 | Signing up for RPGA rewards did not allow me to enter characters. Taking the herald level GM test did not allow me to make characters. Emailing Customer service from the help link got me able to make characters in under 3 hours.. They were suprisingly fast. Being in customer service myself I was impressed with the speed. My exact message in the help ticket system Title: RPGA Players group Request to be added Can you add my RPGA number to the RPGA players group, I'm unable to setup my characters in the DCI/RPGA account screen before they are reported from an event, my hope was to get them setup first to eliminate any possible errors and make it easier on the DM to enter them. On the forums it was suggested to me by WolfStar76 to contact you this way and make the request. Thank You This had me fixed in no time at all and I added the characters easily. Thanks again Wolfstar |

| #9kildaereOct 28, 2008 15:48:54 | Ok I tried this too, but they did not add me. Do I need to try again? What did I do wrong? Since I played this event at a FLGS I don't know how I would even go about contacting my "GM"? Here is my response: **************** Discussion Thread Response (Support Agent) 10/28/2008 11:48 AM Please contact your GM to resolve this issue. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Organized Play Support Wizards of the Coast **************** here was my original message: Subject Please add to RPGA Players List I played 3 slots of Weekend in the Realms with the same character, and I understand that there is a problem with recording the adventures, resulting in 3 separate characters (one per slot). Please add me to the players list so that all my games show up under the same character. Here is a thread about the subject: http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=1106207 |
| #10pedrOct 28, 2008 16:04:53 | I'd send that back to them and tell them that contacting your GM would be of no use as the event is reported and the GM cannot change anything now. What you need to happen is to merge all three records into one. Actually, it makes absolutely no difference whether they do or not: the chances that the online tracker will be accurate for significant times in the future is very low, so I'd not worry about it. It's something of a nice idea, I guess, but the important thing is keeping your paper records up-to-date. Everything else is just backup, and the data that the online system gives you isn't great even if it's accurate. |
