Heehee, I was going through old files and found some RPGA Tournament Award certificates I'd won, circa 2001.

They offer a +1 or -1 to any of your die rolls to any "RPGA sanctioned tournament". No expiration date.

I wonder if they're still good.*

I also found a printout of the old Who's Who in the Living City, a listing of every player character that was registered at the time. It's a stapled stack of paper an eighth of an inch thick, double sided printing.

And hey, look, another 1997 Tournament Award, only this one good for 5 dollars off RPGA, WotC, or TSR products.

I'm all nostalgic now.

* - No, actually I don't, I know they're not good, but it's amusing.

Clearly, you know this, but just for the benefit of the rest...

Those old "die bump" certs were phased out when the RPGA started the Player Rewards program (in 2003, 2004 at the latest, IIRC).  At that time, there was an announcement from Ian Richards (who ran RPGA at the time) noting their expiration date (it was a few months after the announcement, IIRC).

So, if someone finds some old die-bumps, and wants to try that...sorry, they're just souvenirs now. Laughing

I have several of those souvenirs still.  Using them to slay the blue dragon of the moathouse was well worth it.
