You can use your RPGA number as your default login and registration information, but you will have to add a leading 1 and multiple 0s to make it a 9- or 10-digit number. example: if your RPGA number is 123456, due to the recent database update you will need to make it 100123456. 3.) You can email dci@wizards.com and request that they combine your accounts (be sure to give them the specifics, including account number and relevant personal information - a mailing address might be a good start, in case you juxtapose one of your account numbers on accident!). You can then tell them which account you would like to be your "primary". For instance, although I had 10 years of organized M:TG play in my records, I chose to use my RPGA number as my primary after rolling them together, as the RPGA number was just easier to memorize. Good luck! |

I myself have a 6 digit DCI number from years of Magic play (though I have not actually logged any new events in years). It was expanded to 8 digits at one point and is now back to the original 6 again. I have never played an RPGA event. Can I show up at an RPGA event and use this number without any issues or concerns? It is valid and up to date with my contact information as a Magic Player Rewards member. I have logged into the account just today. Thanks in advance for any thoughts or advice. |

I have several players that are using there old 6-digit DCI number |
| #5telvin3dApr 25, 2009 10:55:43 | Yeah, no problem at all. I have a couple players with old DCI #s. One thing, be nice to your DM and make sure they know it's an old DCI # and not an old RPGA #. Old DCI #s get automatically recognized by the system but old RPGA #s need to have placeholder digits added to them. If the DM knows which it is it could potentially save some confusion when they go to report. |
