| #2lorathzNov 17, 2008 13:59:07 | I have registered for the Dec. D&D Delves, but when I go to where the adventure is available for download for each of them, it gives me a Delve Night Placeholder PDF that says "This document serves as a placeholder for the D&D Delve Night program. In order to receive the materials needed to host a D&D Delve Night, you must be an organizer in the Wizards Play Network (WPN) and host your event in a public location. For more information, please visit www.wizards.com/wpn." As far as I can tell, both of these things are true. I am a WPN organizer, and the event is at the comic book store that I manage, which is a public location. Can someone tell me when or how I will be able to see the actual adventures? I've emailed Wizards Customer support, they bumped me over to dci@wizards.com, and all I got from them was the usual generic reply (which I'm sure many of you are already familiar with). |

| #6littlewallNov 26, 2008 12:15:26 | Delve kits are mailed to the store where you'll be hosting the event. Anybody get their December kits yet? I'll be leaving town for the Holiday and won't be able to get to my store before next week to get the kit. I was curious what level December's PCs need to be so I can work on fliers before I get back. |

| #8kinevonNov 30, 2008 7:27:25 | I only just got pulled into DMing the monthly delves (this will be my first one), and I just have a question on creating any pregens. Do they get 3 magic items, 1 each at level - 1, level, and level +1? And any other rules of note that I should know about? (In other words, where can I get a copy of the instructions for use of the D&D Delve Night kit?) Spoiler post! Scaling: Are there any rules for scaling the encounters for 4 or 6 player groups? Maybe I am spoiled by the LFR modules, but I didn't notice anything for scaling, especially for the final encounter, in the Delve. Encounter 1/2 So, the features of the area mentions a candelabra at point C. Where is point C? I don't see any letter C on the map... Although it is mentioned in the box text as being almost directly above the pool/statues. It might also be better, in future, if the bars in the passage further into the lair were mentioned more than in passing, as part of the description if the PCs manage to make a Perception check, and in the text box for the third encounter. I know that if I were playing it, that would be a fairly important thing to know. It would also help to know exactly where the bars are, since they would appear, from the starting location for the creature in Encounter 2, to be in FRONT of two of the creatures for Encounter 1. Or do the defenders drop the bars with their dying breath? ;) |
| #9lorathzDec 04, 2008 20:52:42 | The magic item rules are stated as "1 of level +1, 1 of level, one of level -1, plus gold equal to an item of level -1" As for Encounter 3, the squares of the dais are about halfway off the squares of the floor. Most likely, they are lined up with the floor squares, to keep everything even. As for the other questions, no clue. I was wondering some of those same things myself (especially where "C" is supposed to be) |
| #10kinevonDec 09, 2008 17:27:43 | Anyone built any 8th level characters for people to use as pregens or handouts for this delve? I have been working on some, but I am threshing about in the dark, since I haven't played a 4th Ed character past 2nd level, yet.... |
| #11lorathzDec 09, 2008 18:54:39 | I made a bunch of pregen characters for this: one of each class. Only ended up using one the first week, so if you (or anyone else) needs them, just send me a PM with your email address, and I can send them along. They use the weisenbaden Excel sheet, so they're fairly easy to make adjustments to their stats and have everything change for you, if you want. (Zipped up, all eight characters are 2.7MB) |

I sent you a PM. I only wish I used the latest version of Excel, since that Excel sheet always gives me bunches of errors whenever I try to use it. |
| #13littlewallDec 13, 2008 13:30:17 | Did anybody get a pre-gen included in their kit? I didn't. Lorath - sent a pm to you as I am interested in those pre-gens of yours as well. BTW, TIA. |
