So we played the right number of games to qualify, but didn't get the reporting in on time to make the cutoff to be eligible for the tiles.  Sad sob story, I know.  I'm hoping that perhaps a DM out there got the tiles but is willing to part with them for a decent price.

Anyone willing to part with them?   Please?

You can find them on E-Bay for outrageous prices. You can also judge at D&D XP and get them as a judge reward.

Now I just need to get Wizards to host XP in Salt Lake City.   ;)

I did see the ones on ebay...way too much for me.

No doubt for some of us E-bay will be cheaper.

But not nearly as fun Wink [Yeah, yeah, I am insane, I fly to the States from Europe every year just for a weekend of gaming.]

I would have had one had I  DMed one more round of the Delve instead of playing Mini1-1 (which broke up after round 1 anyway...). Pity.

Yeah, but not as cool or rewarding. And, depending on your valuation, it could be cheaper.

If you judge 8 slots, you get 4 books, admission, plus the reward cards, plus ship tiles, plus hotel room, plus the fun of judging, plus future judging opportunities. Depending on how much you value the experience, you can really come out on top. I know I will. I can afford to just go and play, but it is well worth it to judge and feel good about my loot. At the very least, it isn't so far off, benefit-wise.

Judging the big cons is a hell of a lot of fun, you get to meet a ton of new people, and try to slaughter them.. or at least make them think you're going to.

Let's see $50 for the tile set vs $1600 for a return airfare to the US even with all the benefits of DMing 8 slots (which I would have to)... I guess $50 or even $100 looks a lot better.

I do appreciate the loot handed out for those who can run at big cons, the loot from GenCon Oz was great.

But the cut off for the ship tiles means I missed out *shrug* and so will be passing on ship adventures unless I get one of the locals who got a copy to bring theirs in for use.

Really these are not the sort of thing we need in limited supply.
