At other Game Days I've ran for tables where not everyone had a dci number or didn't want to give personal information. Last weekend I was up at my local shop as a player for the game day. The Source in St. Paul has a huge game day where they ran at three start times of adventures for at least 16 tables. For the last round they needed another DM and I jumped in. The store collected all of our information (player name, dm name, and dci numbers), I presume for reporting. Is there a way for me to get credit for that? I didn't sanction it since I hadn't planned on running but my event did go a full four hours and we had a full four players plus gm. Thanks, James |

I'm fairly sure that there is no minimum time needed to report an event, just a number of players with DCI numbers. I have run into a few cases of people not willing to fill out a DCI card, twice when it made it impossible for me to report a game session - that is so frustrating. As to your impromptu DMing, it should be reported by the person who sanctioned that event that you DMed a session, so once your DCI number was correctly recorded, you should have credit for that DM time. Once the store reports it, it should show up on your RPGA page. |
