Jun 26, 2008 8:19:41 Hey, Im here in Dodge City Kansas and Im wanting to play with some more people outside of my group or a new DM to play with. I still want to do it with my buds as well at the same time. So I was thinking, if somebody near us wouldnt mind, think you could come down with some people if you want and host a convention? Our Hastings would be a perfect spot. Most of my group has been playing together for about four years now, and we would like to see how we play compared to other players outside of us. If need be, I can even set it up and attempt to DM if worse comes to worse. Im my groups DM and more or less organizer. If you have any questions, just ask! Bye for now

Jun 26, 2008 11:42:48 We hold an RPGA convention in Wichita once a year. With the change to LFR coming we have not made plans for when we will hold our Convention this year. Plus we have to wait and see what will draw people to an LFR convention.

Jun 26, 2008 19:32:55 unfortunately, many of us wont be able to drive up to there due to school. Thats why we are wanting some people to come down here maybe. If nothign else, this year me and one or two of my buddies can just skip a couple days of class to go now.

Jun 26, 2008 20:35:34 Well once we decide what to do about the con we will let you know. It wont happen until next year for sure. But if we hold one it is usually in the summer or over the new years weekend. If that helps with the whole school thing.

Jul 08, 2008 15:48:36 Well how many players do you have in your area ? The modules are written for 5 or 6 people.

And it will take some planning to do this, that and funds to drive out there etc.

It is always possible that I could bring a person or 2 with me out there on a weekend. But it wont be any time soon

Jul 09, 2008 20:53:55 well, the total number of players that i play with in my town are about about 11, including myself. We could actually have multiple games going on, and i can talk to the manager at our Hastings to see if she could host it for us. Unfortunatly, only a few of us are RPGA members.
