It appears that due to my own stupidity, that I missed the deadline for Sanctioning the February Delves. Is there anyone here that can fix that? (If so, I run them each Saturday of the month). If not, can someone scan the encounters in and send them to me. I don't want my players to miss out just because I screwed up. Thanks.

Your question has left me a bit confused. And i would appreciate any clarfication with this mattter.

Firstly how can you sanction Delve Nights for February when the module is not yet available?

Secondly D&D Delve Nights (it is Delve Night, right?) will be automatically sactioned when you pick the "D&D Delve Night - Download Only" in your events sactioning for D&D, and only then or maybe after you downloaded your module will the event appear in your "My Events" section. (if you do it now, you will only be able to download the module for January) If you do this, the event will be available for reporting on the day you scheduled your Delve Night for when you filled up the "D&D Delve Night - Download Only" details.

And since noone answered a similar thread i posted about how to report D&D Delve Nights I would like to post a related question, do i have to report all reccomended four sessions on the time it is available for reporting (meaning do i have to have finished the whole module by the event reporting date), or can i just save it for now and continue to report the other sessions which we have not adventured on the day we played them. I am especially worried about this as it can/may affect my delinquency rating.

Unfortunately, I haven't answered that thread because I don't have an answer. I'll see if I can get clarification from Chris Tulach at DDXP.

BTW, whenever someone receives the Feb. DDs, could they post the levels? I'm the DM/character creator, so I need prep time.

I believe you can order the download version once we are into that month. The prior month ordering requirement is so that you can get the cardstock copies of the module in time. So you should still be able to download the event.

Same question here. Prep time should be shorter with the char gen being available now! Yay!

If people wanted to use the Character Builder to generate characters, there's a handy Summary page that can output the character details in a forum-friendly format.

When you load a character you've made and the "Manage" tab is open, click on Summary. You'll get a nice short version of your character to copy/paste. There's even a Copy to Clipboard button on the bottom. A character copied and pasted will look like this:

If people wanted to share "Delve Characters" for February I think that could save us all some time.

I think I heard Chris mention that the February Delve is going to be 3rd level. I'll post a confirmation/denial later today (time permitting from the here at the show). ;)

Is Chris the only person that knows anything about the Delves? We are trying to schedule and promote Delves in retail locations but are hamstrung because NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING about them so all we can say is "We hope to have a Delve in the store sometime this month but do not know its name, what level(s) it is for or anything else so you will just have to wait and see."

He's the best point of contact I have personally - but you raise a good point. Next time I bump into Chris here at DDXP I'll try to remember to suggest some sort of "preview" schedule of the level range(s) for the Friday Night Delves.

It might be worth contact Customer Service as well. (http://wizards.custhelp.com).

I didn't realize that "Download Only" was an option now. I'll do that tomorrow. Thanks for the help everyone!

That'd'be really nice. Put it up on the main page to remind people and advertise which stores have it.

Sign me up for the shared character as well. I'll try and put at least one out.

*cough* Tuesday night delves

Do we have confirmation that it's level 3 for Feb? I have a game slated for tomorrow night and wanted to crank out a few pregens for it.

The download didn't have the adventure in it yet, which is why I am asking.

My link for the Feb delve download is broken in the events. Don't know if someone is looking into that problem.

The Feb delve is for 11th level characters. I picked up the kit at the FLGS last night and since I had all 3rd level pregens it rather hurt a bit.

My link is also missing for the download. I sent a message to customer service, but they tend to react slowly. Is anyone willing to scan in the adventures and send them so I can run the event this Saturday?

One thing about the Delves intended for retail location events, as opposed to conventions, I do not understand is "Why are they so high level?" I was hoping to use the Delves to recruit new players but anyone new to D&D 4e is will be completely overwhelmed with the complexity of a Paragon-level character -- let alone be able to run them effectively.

For January's Delve, I scaled it down to 3rd level and brought in several new players that, I believe, had a great time. I am sure they could have handled 4th or 5th level characters but, at the time, the Character Builder only supported up to level 3 so it was much easier to create characters (and pre-gens).

Where I physically looked at my copy of the delve at the store!

It is indeed 11th level, includes a single pregen as well (can't recall class)

In case anyone forgot, WotC gave us some nice Paragon level PCs right here: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/4news/20081010. That should save you some time.

Not me of course. I have a request for an Eladrin Swordmage, Bugbear Swordmage, Eladrin Wizard, Gnome Fey Warlock, and Dragonborn Cleric. What's wrong with Human Fighter? *Shakes his cane* :P

If you ordered the February D&D Delve as download, it appears that the link is back.
