I'm running a weekly LFR campaign online. The games are open to the public. When I sanction it, should it be home, game day or retail? I've been using home since it's not held at a FLGS and can't be a Game Day sinc eI'm only running one table for each adventure. Am I correct in my reasoning? Any practical difference in calling it a home game? It doesnt look like it...the DM and the players each got 4 reward points for the mod...

Home = not listed on the RPGA Calendar
Retail = Listed on the RPGA Calendar, run at a retail location
Game Day = Listed on the RPGA Calendar, held in a public venue other than a retail stroe

I think Chris Tulach indicated Retail and Game Day may get combined in the future to eliminate these kinds of questions.

Here's the thing, I asked the question because I'd like to have the game listed on the calendar and encourage more players to join up...Is an internet game eligible for game day status if it is open to the public via the internet. And I gues that followup question is the appearance on the calendar the only real difference between the two?

Yes and yes.

The Internet is as public as it gets, and not being listed on the calendar is the one difference of a home game.
