Hello everyone,

I was able to get a sheet of punch-out Greyhawk Coins in the RPGA area at GenCon a few years ago. They were mainly seen at the table for the Three Dragon Ante game.

No one was able to tell me where or why they originated. It was suggested that they were in some issue of Dragon or Dungeon.

Have any of you seen these and can tell me how I can get more? Hope you can help,

Looked at 'em. Don't recognize 'em at all (though, the design on some of the coins looks like the same design that was on an illustration of a coin in the 3E PHB). As I was a subscriber to both Dragon and Dungeon for many years, I'm pertty sure that they *weren't* inserted into either of those magazines.

My guess would be that, if they were using them at the Three Dragon Ante tables, they were meant to be used as chips or something for that game...but, as I've never played TDA, I have no idea what exact role they'd play.

I received that very cardboard sheet as promotional material for advertising Three Dragon Ante. So yes, it was made for Three Dragon Ante, but it wasn't released to the public for sale, either on its own or as part of a magazine.

Those coins are amazing! The only thing I love more then D&D is Three-Dragon Ante. I appologise if I'm overstepping any bounds or pissing people off by bumping such an old thread but I couldn't not ask. Is there any way you could post a scan of both sides of the sheet or at least one of each of the coins? I doubt there's any other way I'm going to get to use such beautiful looking art as this promo item looks rather rare. Personally, I use buttons with the backs snapped off and they look the part, but these are simply amazing.
