Mar 03, 2009 16:57:42 Has anyone received either the PHB2 Game Day material (not the marketing kit, but the actual game materials) or March's Dungeon Delve?

Does anybody know at what point they are scheduled to be mailed out?

Mar 03, 2009 17:19:55 The weekend in the realms stuff arrived about two weeks before the event. I'm not going to worry about the PHII stuff until we reach that point.

Mar 03, 2009 22:49:03 Just got my March delve stuff, although not running that until the end of the month but the PHBII bit is the weekend before, hopefully it will get here in time.

Technically we are close to 2 weeks away from the event. Just pointing this out.

I'd expect them to show up MAYBE Friday, probably Monday.

Pretty much the standard stuff:

3 Adventures + map
3 Sets of Characters
3 Sets of Monster Minis
3 Sets of PC minis
10 DCI cards
1 Instruction booklet

But they also included:

1 set of Promo materials (same as the one we got a couple weeks back)
2 what must be the March dungeon delve (i dont do delves so its a guess)
1 dungeon delve poster (has a male and female goliath on it)

I think that that was pretty much it.

I ordered mine and when I did it asked me for my mailing address etc. If this did not happen when you ordered I dont know what to say.

Did you order it or did your game store order it?

Mar 12, 2009 16:16:50 I did get my marketing kit and with some heavy alterations it worked well for my purposes. Mind you that it wasn't just the date that needed altering, I also put in location information too. My fingers are crossed on how my first worldwide game day will go. I am concerned that I haven't gotten my kit though being that the 21st is coming up soon enough. Hopefully they aren't in the habit of sending them so late that some don't get there until after the date.

Worse comes to worse I can always run the March dungeon delve early.

Mar 12, 2009 19:59:29 I got it, interestingly enough it included another marketing kit (the plus there is I have another poster for it) and January's Dungeon Delve (?). Not complaining but still a bit strange. If they are shipping old ones out I wonder if that means its possible to get a hold of the older dungeon delves so I'd have a complete set.

Mar 14, 2009 17:27:21 Picked mine up from the shop today (it arrived Thursday). Mine included the December delve... interesting.

I'm also rather annoyed that the char sheets are in black and white. I'm seriously thinking about reprinting them in color...

Mar 14, 2009 17:58:58 I receive it today. I was supposed to contact the organizer at the week that come, because he don't work at weekend, but was there at the surprise of me and his workmate.

I ask him if he receive it and says he will contact me when he receive it, but he got the package some minute later.

I dont know why they would ask for my mailing adress for this event and then mail to the store anyways...

Mar 15, 2009 0:14:34 I called the store owner today, and he said the kits came in. I had the kits mailed directly to his store.

I am one of the three DMs running three games apiece, so I went and got my kit this afternoon. It contained:

Table Tents to announce the event, as well as another poster - which were already received in the earlier marketing mailer. Still it is a huge store, so the extra posters and tents will catch more eyes of customers.

The kit also contained the x3 character sheets, modules/maps, DM minis, and PC minis.

The kit also contained flyers announcing the 23 May WWGD for the release of MM2. That is very, very nice - as the players will be excited to learn of the next officially sponsored WWGD.

For us, it is more about introducing the game to new players - and growing our player community.

Good luck to all of you selfless enough to step up and host the event. The module plays long, so you DMs need to keep things moving along. The fact that the players are looking at the new classes and powers for the first time slows things down - a lot. I have emailed the 22 players already signed up, and attached the PC files for them to familiarize themselves with the characters ahead of time.

To WotC, another nicely delivered game day bundle/package.

Hopefully, it doesn't just come late and I end up with 2.
