Help, can't order adventures.

Aug 19, 2008 15:00:32 So I've spent about a half hour trying to figure out the new site for ordering adventures.

I think I get just about everything, but when I click on the adventures I want and press "next" I get a message that I haven't selected anything.

Anyone encountered this and have a solution?

Aug 19, 2008 15:37:12 I was able to order an event just now - are you clicking on the event name, or are you clicking on the checkbox next to the module you want and then click "add" at the bottom of the page?

I think in the new system you have to ADD the mod(s) you want before you can click NEXT.

I'm trying to set up an event also. I can get through the beginning, but am not able to add any events. I click on the Add button but nothing happens. I don't get a list of events. Is there something else I need to do to get a list?
I did order an event a week or two ago under the old format and that worked fine. It is still a future event so I haven't tried reporting yet.

I've tried everything I can think of to get a list to choose from. What am I doing wrong?

Never Mind. I went back and tried signing in again and then ordering and it worked now! I didn't do anything different from the first few times I tried but the adventures are showing up to be selected now, whereas no list at all was showing earlier.

2nd update - I believe I might have tried ordering as a Game Day first when I got no games listed. I logged off, then back in and tried to order as a Home Game. The events did show up then. Apparently type options such as "Game Day" aren't yet working in the new system.

Aug 20, 2008 10:35:50 I overheard Chris Tulach at GenCon saying that he'd be working with people on getting the database up and running this week.

So, we're likely just seeing the fallout of the transition and the "shoring up" of the database this week.

Hopefully by this time next week things will be all well and good.
