| #1niendeJan 19, 2009 1:18:18 | Hi, this is my first tme to officiate and report a sanctioned rpga event. I tried playing with the Jan 09 Delve night, Sewers of Silence since i figured it would be more easier/streamlined. We had a double/back2back session(?), in other words i used 2 encounters since i started late in the month. First Question: Do I have to distribute in on a one encounter a week scheme, or can i schedule them as i like it (double sessions per every other week) or all 4 of them spread over in a period of like one weekend)? Second Question: When i scheduled for the download of the module, it automatically also scheduled the event, along with reporting options set on the scheduled date of the (and im assuming) first session. Should i report the 2 encounters as one session or should i separate it as one session per encounter? It may be that they will be checking for 4 distinct sessions as the module is supposedly designed that way. Third Question: Also should i just save it and not submit the reports as is since we havent finsihed with the adventure. Or should i submit it already and will the system automatically generate another sanctioned event for me to followup report the uncompleted module. i have only saved it as of the moment so not to make an irreversable booboo. also, ive heard i have to submit my report within 8 days of the scheduled event. as it is my first session (or first and second / double session), and im not finished with the adventure, what am i really supposed to do? Fourth Question: some of my players have the 8 digit dci numbers which i used. using the converted 10 digit code also gets them registered, but the 8 digit code is reflected. should i just continue with this, or issue new 10 digit dci numbers to them? kinda a waste of dci cards to my opinion, but they might have problems later, especially when it comes to the rewards program. Finally, when i reported the following players, the have a corresponing 0 - (New Character) to their names. I am assuming that this will be updated once i officially enroll/submit my report. And on their next event, they will have the option to use this character or generate a new one. I dont know how we will be able to tell which character is which later. Will the players be able to customize this option later? How will that be possible? I am sorry that there seems to be a lot of questions, but i am new at this and i dont know what happens if i do one thing. this is why im appealing to the more experienced people for their advice. Thanks in advance. |
