| #2GreysonJun 22, 2010 15:44:37 | I got two copies in the mail today. |
| #3festivusJun 23, 2010 9:41:53 | Two? Interesting. I'd like to know where I can go to discuss editing errors in the adventure, because I have only made it to page 6 and found a few. |
| #4BooneronJun 24, 2010 16:10:09 | I got mine yesterday - looking forward to surprising my players with it. I'm a little confused by the poster though. The scale is too small to play on, and the map is already printed on the inside cover of the adventure - is the poster "just for fun"? I haven't read through the entire thing yet, but I think this is a cool freebie for signing up. |
| #5Dragon9Jun 24, 2010 21:28:45 | Is that the, 'update your contact info' reward, or is that the, 'run 5+ events' reward? It's a "Hey, you're signed up for DM Rewards!" reward. I wasn't really paying attention myself and didn't realize this was even shipping and got mine today. Pleasantly surprised. I had heard there was to be a 4e ToH, but I thought it was going to be retail publication. |
| #6battles14Jun 25, 2010 7:57:21 | There is a retail Tomb of Horrors on the way, but it's been redesigned for 4e (so there aren't any spoilers for people who have played it before). The retail version is designed for characters from 10th-22nd level, and it's out on July 20th. The DM rewards version (which I received last night) is updated from the original 1st edition adventure, and it's designed for 9th level characters. |
| #7_Mithreinmaethor_Jun 25, 2010 14:23:44 | I lost my link for the DM Rewards signup. Anyone have it? I have a couple of new DM's that want to signup and going thru that stupid MtG crap to try and find it is a pain in the arse. |
| #8BooneronJun 25, 2010 16:20:35 | The process is described in this thread: community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/758... Mine didn't work, so after I signed up, I had to call customer service and have them fix whatever was broken on their end. |
| #9UthracJun 28, 2010 15:07:34 | I'm a little confused by the poster though. The scale is too small to play on, and the map is already printed on the inside cover of the adventure. I had the same reaction - - the poster seems like a huge waste of WotC marketing money. Map we can play on = real value. A full-size color map of the whole dungeon that matches the map on the inside cover, including secret door and trap locations? Utterly useless. (It's almost as if someone sent the wrong PDF file to use to make the color map . . .) |
| #10battles14Jun 29, 2010 12:10:08 | I'm a little confused by the poster though. The scale is too small to play on, and the map is already printed on the inside cover of the adventure. You mean you're not going to frame that and hang it on the wall? I thought that's what it was for. I (not seriously) asked my GF if we could hang it on the wall above our bed, and she threatened to break up with me if I ever even joked about something like that again. |
| #11snarls_at_fleasJul 04, 2010 4:45:41 | Got mine today. Same thoughts about poster map. @battles14 Thought about hanging it on the wall came to mind as soon as I've seen it. My wife has nothing against FR map, maybe she gonna agree to it too. Especially if her dragonborn cleric of Bahamut shows himself a true hero there ![]() |
