I'm going to run one table once a week at home. None of my players have RPGA numbers. I was told I could enter them online, but I can't figure out how. Also, I tried to enter the event as a sactioned event, but it wouldn't let me just enter one adventure. help please.

I'm having this thread moved to the RPGA General forum. It's more likely to get a reply there.

Are you running home-play stuff, or LFR?

If you are running home-play, there is a weird issue where you can't choose an adventure twice, but there is only one generic "homeplay" for each world choice. When I have two sessions to report I just choose the next closest (usually Greyhawk, since I love the setting). Might distort their play statistics, but...

In either case, I would encourage players to get RPGA numbers. That way, you get to report the games, they get credit, etc.

I believe they must have RPGA numbers (at least 4 of them) for the table to be reportable. You don't need more than their numbers for it to work. They will get all of an e-mail every blue moon and might get cool things like RPGA cards, DM rewards (if they DM some sessions), etc.

I'm running an LFR campaign. Getting my players RPGA numbers is my problem. I don't know how to do that. I heard they could sign up online but I can't figure out how. I'm doing all the work for them here. I'm introducing them to the game.

The best solution for you is to use the option to get the DCI to send you membership forms for your players.

If you choose the 'Wizards Play Materials' logo in the Event Sanctioning screen, then create an 'event' for Membership Card Request, WotC should send you some cards. This answer suggests you should allow 2 weeks for delivery: http://wizards.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/wizards.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=579&p_created=1113516866&p_sid=SIBRbsEj&p_accessibility=0&p_redirect=&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9MjYsMjYmcF9wcm9kcz0wJnBfY2F0cz0mcF9wdj0mcF9jdj0mcF9zZWFyY2hfdHlwZT1hbnN3ZXJzLnNlYXJjaF9ubCZwX3BhZ2U9MSZwX3NlYXJjaF90ZXh0PVJQR0Egam9pbg**&p_li=&p_topview=1

The alternatives are: find a local game store which runs DCI events (Magic or D&D Minis) or RPGA ones and ask them for some membership forms, or get your players to each individually follow the instructions here: http://wizards.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/wizards.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=49&p_created=1109368241&p_sid=SIBRbsEj&p_accessibility=0&p_redirect=&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9MjYsMjYmcF9wcm9kcz0wJnBfY2F0cz0mcF9wdj0mcF9jdj0mcF9zZWFyY2hfdHlwZT1hbnN3ZXJzLnNlYXJjaF9ubCZwX3BhZ2U9MSZwX3NlYXJjaF90ZXh0PVJQR0Egam9pbg**&p_li=&p_topview=1 (clicking the word 'here' will take you to a form to fill in).

Each person will need a Wizards site login. If anyone has a problem with that form, in that it returns an error or un-ending loop, see the link in my signature, as this is a known issue which WotC need to fix on an individual account basis.

Hope that helps!

If there is a local list, such as an RPGA Yahoo list for your state, try posting there for anyone that has cards (they must be the new kind, not ones from years past). There are usually some people that have tons sitting around. And, any gaming stores that ran the PH2 and MM2 game days likely have some.

Both of these can be faster than requesting them from the RPGA, which you can also do. (dci@wizards.com).

Oh, incidentally, surely you can report two sessions of one 'adventure' (D&D Home - Eberron or whatever), so you don't need two adventures just to report two sessions within the same event.

Unless things have changed, and that doesn't work!

Alpha, I think that email address is no longer open. But now there is the automated ordering link in your member area that pedr mentioned earlier.

Ah, interesting! Thanks for the info. We should correct the FAQ, then.
