ok...i'm a DCI member and i have a DCI number and and i'm a 1° lever magic judge and i'm part of the Magic Reward Program.

now..i'd like to become a RPGA member and make the Herald Test to become a santioned DM.

1 - have i to make a new registration to RPGA..os is it the same of the DCI one?
(if i've to make a new registration..can someone cpoy/past here the link of the page where i can do it?)

2 - the Herald test is based on the 3.5 edition rules. Why's that? Will the santioned D&D events always be with the 3.5 rules? Or i will see in a month or two a new test based on the 4° edition?

ok!
tnks for the answer and sorry if they may look stupid questions :P

Your DCI number is now your registration for the RPGA.

You can become a Herald Level RPGA GM by taking the test in the DCI Judges' Centre, where you (probably) took a Magic test at some time. If you don't know where that is, log in to the DCI/RPGA members' area, and on the right-hand side there should be a link. While the webpages haven't been updated yet, there is in fact a 4th edition Herald-level test. Click 'Create' (I think), then choose Dungeons and Dragons or something similar and it should give you the list of tests. If you pass, you'll become a Herald Level GM and be able to order RPGA events.

Do note the FAQ stickied at the top of this forum. It's new so still being worked on, so do let us all know if there are questions that it doesn't manage to answer, so it can be improved!

Welcome to the RPGA - I hope your events all go very well! If there's a particular aspect of the RPGA you're looking to get involved with, let us know (and perhaps let us know where you're based) and we might be able to point you in the direction of some local contacts or more information.

I was pretty sure you weren't a native English speaker. Your English is infinitely better than my Italian, so don't worry about it. I understood what you were asking perfectly!

If you're interested in the Living Forgotten Realms campaign, the Point of Contact for Southern Europe and Turkey is Axel Sabitzer (a.sabitzer@yahoo.com) though there doesn't seem to be a Yahoo! Group or any other local network at the moment, unfortunately. I'm sure Axel would be interested to hear from you if you're running Living Forgotten Realms, though.
