As many of you know, I am leaving my position as Writing Director for the Moonshae Isles. I lack time and interest to continue to do my job, so I'm bowing out to focus on family and projects.

I've been involved with the RPGA for the past 6 years and remember fondly my time as a Tusmit and County of Urnst Triad, the playtesting of 4e, and the thrill of starting a new region from scratch. Now that the Region is set-up, and the campaign is well established in the gaming landscape. Another with new and fresh ideas can come in and make the region into something bigger and better.

So I prefer to let people with more enthousiasm take over. So I leave without regret, without anger, with the satisfaction of a job well done, and quite happy to leave the campaign in good hands.

Like many before me, I must ride into the sunset, to other, bigger, better things.

Farewell to all friends, be seeing you around a gaming table!

Umm I didn't know that. I guess it's back to the drawing board for Adventure submissions.

Its a great region and in my opinion the best region for quality of adventures and modules/storylines.
Thank you for all your hard work.

Thanks for your hard work!

But is there a replacement already in line?

Dru and Chris have not informed of any potential successor. I'm sure they have someone in mind. If you want to submit your name, I'd send a gaming resume to those guys.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Thanks for all the work. Many of the Moonshae mods so far count among my favorites. Good luck!

Thanks for all you've done for us to date.

May you enjoy the time "off" you're taking.

Of course, we'll still be here, and I suspect we'll all save a seat and a d20 for you, should you find the time to come back - even for brief visits to game tables near you.

Yeah, I'm not disappearing, I'll still be around to complete a table and take part in events. ;)

We all know the real reason JP is leaving is that he doesn't have Blasphemy to use against the PCs.

Thanks for your service.

... or have magic missiles that always hit
... or do scary damage on PCs (who in turn do scary damage to me)
... or run a true storyline you don't have to wait 4 years to see what's happening

All jokes aside, I posted a blog entry on the reasons... (jpchapleau.blogspot.com)

Ah, so it's the devil's music and it's hidden messages that compelled you to do this.  Repent!
