| #1Alter_BoyFeb 21, 2009 14:22:23 | This thread is for news about the March Delve. The first person to receive the Delve, please post what level it is. If there's any issues with the adventure, post here so we can share solutions. And if anyone has pre-made characters approrpriate for the Delve, please post links here. Thanks. :D |
| #2festivusFeb 22, 2009 11:30:45 | Doh, I missed the ordering cutoff and got April's instead. Oh well. can someone tell me that the download version actually works, I tried it last month and didn't get a valid file to download. Thankfully we had a copy at the store. |
| #3kinevonFeb 22, 2009 13:40:30 | The download button should work, once the March one becomes available on it, they fixed the issue February was having. I wound up getting the PDF from two sources, both the fixed download link, and an email from customer service, as per another thread. |
| #4Alter_BoyFeb 25, 2009 18:04:39 | ![]() On topic, I hope that Chris used some of the new monsters featured in Dungeon Delve. There's a list of them in this thread: http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?t=438840&page=2 . |
| #5blackplaugeFeb 27, 2009 16:02:15 | What does WotC's record for getting these out early enough for prep time look like? I've sanctioned a Delve for March 7th (that's a week from Saturday) and am begining to worry about having the time necessary to get the maps prepared (I don't have Dungeon Tiles, and have to make a close facsimile of the maps in CC3 to print out). I haven't had a problem in the past, but this is also the earliest in the month that I've ever planned a Delve (GameDay occupies the usual slot this month). |
| #6Alter_BoyFeb 27, 2009 16:30:26 | From what I've seen, the middle of the first week is a safe bet. Not so great when, like me, your first Delve is on the 1st of March. :/ |
| #7nicodemus_dupMar 01, 2009 6:34:41 | Hi I just downloaded a delve for the first time (download only as I live in Europe). The adventure is for 10th level characters. I was planning to organise this delve on the D&D gameday. The characters from that adventure are 11th level. Is there any possibility I can let the players play the march delve with the premade characters from the gameday adventure? What kind of information do you have to report at the end of the delve? The download only has the adventure pdf and not a reporting sheet. The adventure text also references the instructions in the delve kit. But this is also missing in the download. Any help would be appreciated ! |
| #8WolfStar76Mar 01, 2009 7:28:04 | I wouldn't run with 11th level characters, as there's quite a difference between Paragon-tier and Heroic-tier characters (and NPCs). While it would be doable, the damage output, paragon class options, and other bits and pieces will (almost certainly) make it a complete cakewalk for the players. As for reporting, I believe you just need to report the RPGA/DCI/WPN numbers of the players involved. ![]() |
| #9Alter_BoyMar 11, 2009 15:12:21 | Quick question on the first encounter: Show The tactics for the Shadow Slime suggest using "Shadow Jump". I've checked the stats, but the Slime has no ability like that. Am I missing something? |
| #10blackplaugeMar 11, 2009 16:11:10 | You're not missing anything. The Delves seem to continually suffer from poor editing. |
